Naeema Kapadia and Sophia Hasnain have been lifelong cyclists that restarted cycling with the Critical Mass Karachi in 2012 and 2013 respectively. What started as weekend leisure activity became an exploratory activity over the weekends specially during the Covid period when the duo would head out on their cycles on the empty roads. From leisure to exploration to now documenting the city and an ambition to make the city a bicycle-friendly city. Here’s to the team Embracing Karachi!
Naeema is an established Interior Designer who has worked and lived in several countries. She qualified in interior design from the UK and in project management from the USA. She enjoys photography, particularly of homes and interiors. In her spare time, she is a keen cyclist, foodie and traveler.
